Happy Midsommar! As a gal with strong Scandinavian Happy Midsommar! As a gal with strong Scandinavian ancestry, I love to celebrate the summer solstice. In my upcoming book, Soirées Made Simple (out July 30) I've got lots of great recipes for an entire Midsommer party, including this crowd pleaser, the Summer Skyr Tart. It's got a cookie-like pastry base, a yogurt filling, and you can decorate with whatever summer berries you like. (Almond slices optional!)

I was absolutely delighted to see my Popcorn Drift I was absolutely delighted to see my Popcorn Drift ®️ Roses in full bloom when I came home from traveling for work. They start out as little yellow buds and explode into beautiful white fragrant blooms. The rose scent is divine as well and it makes working in that part of the garden an absolute joy.

S’mores & ‘tinis night was a success! We did both S’mores & ‘tinis night was a success! We did both sweet & savory s’mores but the real stars of the show were the Maple Bourbon Martini, Caramel Apple Martini, Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini, and my Chocolate S’mores Tart. We also had Bailey’s S’mores shots.

Figs for days! I planted this little beauty, an It Figs for days! I planted this little beauty, an Italian Honey Fig from Stark Bros., last year. She gave me 1 gig last year … but this year you can see she is gonna give ALL the figs. And I CANNOT wait. Oh, and I may have planted two more Italian Honey Figs this year because this may be my most favorite, yummiest fresh fig. I cannot wait to devour these.
